The following National Holidays are observed by all businesses and schools (except when falling on weekends):

* Founding Day of the Republic of China: January 1

* Chinese New Year: First three days of first lunar month

* 2-28 Incident Commemoration Day (Peace Memorial Day): February 28

* Tomb Sweeping Day: April 4, 5 or 6

* Labor Day: May 1

* Dragon Boat Festival: Fifth day of fifth lunar month]

* Mid-Autumn Festival (Moon Festival): 15th day of eighth lunar month

* National Day (Double 10): October 10
