The regular direct flight from Taichung to Tokyo would start since tomorrow (14th ) and will fly everyday. Mayor Chia-lung Lin would take the first flight with special Flora Expo cabin to Tokyo to promote the upcoming Taichung Flora Expo opening on 3rd November. One day before he’d start, Mayor Lin shared the just launched Flora Expo brand video in Japanese on his Facebook. There are beautiful Tung’s flower, tree peony, plum blossom and cosmos in the video with the introduction of Taichung in both Chinese and Japanese. All the visitors around the world are welcome to come to Taichung and enjoy the Flora Expo activities.

「こんにちは！Welcome to Taichung！」Mayor Lin announced the brand video in Japanese of Taichung Flora Expo has been launched on his Facebook. He’d like to invite our global friends from everywhere to come here to listen to the sound of blooming by the end of this year.

The hands of the 「Grandpa Rainbow」, Mr. Yin-fu. Huang, with wrinkles spreading around was shown in the video. With his hands, the famous sightseeing spot of Taichung,「Grandpa village」, was painted out under the pen. The village is decorated with many pictures of interesting characters and animals in different saturated and shining colors. Later on, the dessert cook appeared in the video, he’s concentrated and patiently kneading the dough, then the famous crispy-crusted Taichung cake with sweet pastry,「Sun cake」, would be baked and ready to be eaten.

Also, there were two kids drinking Pearl milk tea and running around happily. After the old houses remodeled, many young people came here for their startups. Recently, the very famous check-in location,「Shen Ji New Village」, is popular among the young hipsters. The Tung’s flowers floating in the air along the running wind, tree peony, plum blossoms and cosmos were dancing to bridge to the Houli horse ranch, Qingshui Gaomei Wetlands and National Taichung Theater etc. These Flora Expo exhibition area are all very famous sightseeing spots in Taichung. Later, the scene was followed by a couple of lovers dancing around the 「Cherry Blossom Bridge」, the beautiful historical construction aside Luchuan.

The officer of the City Government said, the City Government has promoted the trip by「flying in and out from Taichung」with accumulated satisfying achievements. From tomorrow, a new direct flight of Mandarin Airlines from Taichung to Tokyo would start everyday so the visitors in Taichung don’t need to transport to Taoyuan Airport to take the flights any more. It’s very convenient and the visits between Taiwan and Japan will be significantly facilitated.

Tomorrow, Mayor Lin would lead the team to take the very first direct flight to Tokyo to promote Flora Expo; the flight is the Flora Expo cabin and the attendants on the plane will wear the apron with flowers’ pictures on to serve the guests. And all the accessories, including pillows, paper cup and paper placemat were printed with the eye-catching and lovey Flora Expo mascots’ pictures on, like the pictures of Leopard cat or Horsiver on.

Mayor Lin and the team will attend the events,「Welcome and opening ceremony of the direct flight from Taichung to Tokyo」and「2018 Taichung Flora Expo promotional press conference in Japan」, held at the Narita Airport in Tokyo. He and the Flora Expo mascots, Leopard cat family-sister「Love」and brother「Life」, would like to invite the Japanese people to take the direct flight to Taichung for joining in the Flora Expo festival.

Mayor Lin will be accompanied by sister「Love」 and brother「Life」to visit the busy commercial towns in Tokyo to promote the Flora Expo in Taichung. They will perform the Flora Expo dance to promote Taichung Flora Expo heavily.

Also, Mayor Lin will visit the 「2K540 AKI-OKA ARTISAN」it’s located at the area near Tokyo station in Japan; 「2K540」is reflecting the distance from Tokyo station to the area of the bridge supports between Akihabara and Okachimachi as it’s 2 kilometers and 540 meters whereas 「AKI-OKA」 means the「area between Akihabara and Okachimachi」. As to 「ARTISAN」, it means「Professional people」or「artisan」 in French.

Japan government has leverage the unused area under the bridge to build the street of professional handcrafts artists which is in the name of「manufacturing」. The area is transformed to be a sightseeing spot with the atmosphere of arts and cultural creativity, which is similar to the「21.7K green corridor」named after the distance of the railway in Taichung. The green corridor is planned based on the axis of「beautified green environment and entertaining bike path」 and will be implemented by three staged constructions to integrate the current green parkway system to provide the citizens an open and comfortable space for walking and biking. The successful experience in Japan can be the good model for the「21.7K green corridor」in Taichung to make it better constructed.

Besides, Mayor Lin will attend the seminar of tourism communication and promotion to present the upcoming Taichung Flora Expo and plenty of tourism resources in Taichung to the local tourism industry in Tokyo. The sightseeing spots like Gaomei Wetland, Grandpa village and National Taichung Theater etc. are all good places to visit so we wish the Japanese tourism industry to know Taichung more in advance and lead more Japanese tourists to have a trip in Taichung.

Last night, the video was broadcasted on the official Facebook of Taichung Flora Expo and Youtube. The video has been browsed for several thousand times and won many recognitions and compliments like「Good film with high quality！」, 「Beautiful scenes～～look forward to enjoying」, 「Flora Expo is so expectant!!!」 and some positive comments in Japanese, 「Wonderful らしい（Outstanding）」.
