44% of Taichung City residents report improved quality of government services and measures to improve convenience(2005-10-03)

A satisfaction survey of adults 20 years and over measuring quality of government services and measures to improve living standards of Taichung City held by National Chung Hsing University found that 44% of the populace said they believe that city services and measures to improve living standards had increased over the past year. The greatest level of satisfaction with the change in service in the past year was with the Taichung Household Registration Office and the lowest level of satisfaction with the change in service in over the past year was with the Police Bureau. Twenty-eight of the people said the greatest need for improvement is with the attitude of service personnel.
Chung Hsing University Survey Center Research Center for Marketing and Public Opinion was charged with conducting the telephone survey, which held from July 5, 2005 to July 8, 2005, surveying residents of Taichung City 20 years old and older. There were 1,091 valid surveys. The survey had a 95% confidence level and standard deviation was 2.97%.
