The Bureau of Public Health has entered its 60th year. To celebrate this special date, The Bureau of Public Health invites every citizen to the "60th Anniversary Celebration Party", held at 9:00 AM. on July 1st, 2006 at 811 Shiang Shin South Road. Previous directors of The Bureau of Public Health also attended the event.

Taichung vice mayor Shiao Jia Chi says that the Bureau of Public Health took opportunity of this event to thank the previous directors for their devotion to ensuring better Taichung public health, citizens' health and medical treatment. Public health and medical treatment play important roles in a healthy city.

After having served the citizens for 60 years, the Bureau of Public Health will continue its hard work as well as organize a variety of activities to make sure the citizens have a healthy future.
