Sponsored by Taichung City government's Department of Social Affair and Quean Cheng Social Welfare foundation, programs of taking more than 200 children from low income families on trips to high class restaurants, sculpture work in San Yi, farms and participate in radio shows have commenced on the 5th.
The foundation also invited BCC, Classical, Lucky 7, Super FM 99.1, and CSBC to design programs which children can experience making and recording a radio program. The lunch was had at a Taichung top end Restaurant. Magicians were also invited to play tricks for the children.
Hoe Sue Rue from the Department of Social Affairs says that this year is the second year to hold activity like this to treat the children from the low-income families. There are five destinations included in this program, trips to Taichung Winery, San Yi sculpture DIY, recreation farms in Changhua, canoeing in the ChungJeng Swimming Pool and so on.
