During the consecutive three days between May 18th and May 20th, Taichung International Performing Arts Festival is being held in the Round Theater, with the expectation of exhibiting folk dances provided by 15 performance groups from over 10 countries as well as cuisine shows, to welcome denizens’ visiting. They will be able to experience exotic attractions without having to go abroad. 

　　Today (May 16th), Deputy Mayor Hsiao stated that Taichung City was an enthusiastic, innovative, and culturally rich city, in the press meeting, 2007 Taichung, Exotic, and Festival, hosted by the Cultural Affairs Bureau. This year the Bureau has been devoted its efforts to inviting over 15 performing groups from 10 countries to come to the City. People can explore multi-country cultures and cuisines at one occasion, which pleased the Deputy Mayor a lot. Despite it being held in the Round Theater, he expected the Festival to win applause not only from denizens of Taichung City, but also from people across the country who enjoy foreign folks and foods.

　　According to Director Tsao of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the Festival brings together multi-state dances and foods in one place, such as romantic Flamingo, ardent Hawaii, fervent Samba, exotic Indian and Mexican dances, mysterious and splendid Bollywood of India, and delicate and elegant Japanese classical dance, all of which are colorful and eye-catching performances that will keep their promise of providing people with a wide-open opportunity for appreciation.

　　She expressed that there would be cultural lectures every morning during the 3 consecutive days starting from May 18th , as well as consecutive performances by performers from different countries of Exotic Waltz among three stage areas of the Round Theater from 7 PM to 10 PM, lighting the night sky of Taichung City. Pandora's Art World and Forest Song were located in WenHsing Forest Park just in front of the stage to include consecutive performances provided by various state groups from 3:30 PM to 6 PM, as well as to introduce exotic cuisine and wine, providing audiences with fascinating experiences.
