IL DIVO held their only concert in Fulfillment Amphitheatre in Taichung on September 24. Everyone in the audience was enchanted by their performance. Fulfillment Amphitheatre is the only outdoor amphitheatre in Taiwan.

All of the four singers of IL DIVO joined the press conference before the concert. Mayor Jason Hu gave all of them a Giant bicycle. This surprised them very much. Jason Hu suggested that they ride their bicycles to Fulfillment Amphitheatre before the show to enjoy the street scenery and experience the leisurely lifestyle of Taichung.

Jason Hu said that, as the mayor of Taichung City, he is responsible to promote the local products. Therefore, he sent IL DIVO bikes which are the most famous and most proud of products of Taichung. He wished IL DIVO would witness the superiority of the industrial goods and advocate the fine living environment and lifestyle in Taichung City.

Jason Hu also said that he has a dream and he wishes to make it come true before he resigns. His dream is to invite the best singers in the world to visit Taichung City and perform for the citizens. The shows should include Taiwanese folk songs or Taiwanese elements. Before IL DIVO, Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, and Ming Hwa Yaun (Taiwan Opera Group) had visited Taichung. In the future, he will invite the troupe led by Lang Tsu-yun to present the new version of “Butterfly Lovers”. 　

IL DIVO’s show was a fusion of pop music and opera which was very charismatic. They have been invited as openers for Barbra Streisand’s tour concerts. Also, they have recorded the official theme song of the 2006 FIFA World Cup and performed with Toni Braxton in the opening show. Around 1 billion people from all around the world saw their performance. They have had two world tours and have visited 30 countries and attracted one and half million people. On September 24, IL DIVO conquered the fans of Taiwan with their sexy and beautiful voice again.
