In order to celebrate World Book Day, Taichung City Government has planned several events to help create an unforgettable experience for residents, generate an atmosphere to further the flourishing of Taichung's arts and culture, and promote use of public libraries as a resource. Taichung, well-known as a city of culture, will create a book-lovers' heaven and remind everyone about the joys of reading through these events.
The following events will be held in public libraries from April 1 to June 30: 12 "Meet the Writers" workshops, 12 Storytelling Times by Children's Book Writers events, 12 Creative Stories workshops, four 'Little Storytellers" workshops, four "Reading Symphony Music" workshops, three Taichung City Reading Day events, and a Celebrity Storytellers DVD press conference.
