Taichung Labor Affairs Bureau and Cheng Loong Corp. jointly conducted “Demonstration on the Risk Prevention of Mechanical Equipment Operation and Maintenance “.
On the morning of October 24th, 2012, Taichung Labor Affairs Bureau and Howli Plant of Cheng Loong Corp. jointly conducted “Demonstration on the Risk Prevention of Mechanical Equipment Operation and Maintenance “. The 4 themes of the demonstration were “Risk Prevention of Mechanical Roll-up Door”, “Risk Prevention of Fixed Crane”, “Risk Prevention of Forklift” and “Risk Prevention during Annual Maintenance”. The demonstration was illustrated and exemplified by experts; more than 150 business enterprises participated in the event. Through practical experience exchange, the concept of risk prevention in workplace was promoted, and business management was but into practice to reduce occupational injury. Before the demonstration, the director of Taichung Labor Affairs Bureau, Shu-Huei Lai, especially thanked Cheng Loong Corp. for providing place and equipment for the event, and expressed that the mechanical operation, fixed crane, forklift and annual maintenance are common for business enterprises and the potential risk of falling, roll-up, object falling and electricity leak is very high and relevant occupational injuries are often heard. To prevent such injury, Director Lai called for all units to pay attention to the above risk and take necessary safety measurement, especially during annual maintenance to avoid occupational disaster.
