EPA announced draft of Guidelines for Mandatory Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions

In view that carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases have been classified as main sources of air pollutants, the Environmental Protection Administration, ROC (Taiwan) (hereinafter referred to as the EPA) has announced its draft of Guidelines for Mandatory Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in accordance with Article 21 of Air Pollution Control Act and the international practices on how to report greenhouse gas emissions. It is hoped that such a guideline will prompt the public and/or private organizations to report their greenhouse gas emissions, especially from the stationary sources. For details of the annexes to the draft, please visit the EPA website (URL: http://ivy5.epa.gov.tw/epalaw/index.aspx). Any comments on or amendments proposed to the draft contents can be made within 14 days starting from the next day when the communique is publicized by contacting the following:
