Zone expropriation progress report on northern side and southern side of Shuein an Airport and Buzi area

The latestprogress of zone expropriation for the northernside and the southern side of Shuein an Airport and Buzi area is explained as follows:
1. The latest progress of Taichung Central Park Landscape Project:(1) In accordance with the annual implementation timetable for the "Taichung Central Park Landscape Project “reviewed and approved by Taichung Gateway Park City Development Task Force, the international competition on design drawings was completed by the end of December 2011;the detailed landscape design for Taichung Central Park was handled by January 2012,will begin construction in January 2013 and shall be completed by December 2014;Taichung Central Park shall be officially opened to the public in2015. (2)The tender of Commissioning the Planning Design and Supervision Service for Taichung Central Park was awarded on February 10, 2012; the contract was signed on February 20, 2012; the Basic Design Report was reviewed in the meeting held on August 30, 2012; and the 2nd Basic Design Report was reviewed and approved on December 13, 2012.
2. Progress on Taiwan Tower and Urban Visions Museum: The tender of Commissioning the Planning Design and Supervision Service for Taiwan Tower and Urban Visions Museum was announced on February 24, 2012; the contract was signed on May 25, 2012; the Advisory Group on the Commissioning the Planning Design and Supervision Service called its 2nd meeting on November 29, 2012 and scheduled to meet again on December 21, 2012 for the positioning of "the Urban Visions Museum”.
3. Buzi Bridge engineering: All the four landscape bridges have been completed and opened to traffic. (1) BridgeNo. 1(New Peach Blossom) was opened to traffic on November 11, 2011. (2)Bridge No. 2(Romantic Lover) was opened to traffic on September 29, 2010. (3)The opening ceremony for Bridge No. 3 (Refreshing Dakeng) was held on October 19, 2012. (4) Bridge No. 4 (Blue Sky and White Cloud) was opened to traffic on May 8, 2012.
