Local Tax Bureau of Taichung City Government held a press conference on August 2 to introduce its "Love Action Tax Service Net". Many attending VIPs and reporters were very impressed by the real-time tax service.

Deputy Mayor Tsai Bing-Kun (蔡炳坤)said, “The Love Action Tax Service Net launched by the Local Tax Bureau is a pioneering leader in Taiwan. Not only does it provides our citizens with the most extensive, most in-depth, and most intelligent services but it also fulfills the real meaning of an Intelligent Community, an honor conferred to Taichung City in 2013 by the Intelligent Community Forum. I hope tax service can be done with all eyes and all ears, so that our Local Tax Bureau will see the needs of our citizens and also hear their voice.”

Director-general Tsai Qi-Ming (蔡啟明) then introduced the service network architecture. He said his Local Tax Bureau would make irregular service tours to different stations and the Love Action Tax Service Net provides 65 video services in three categories, including application, certification and inquiry.

Launch ceremony was officiated by Deputy Mayor Tsai and Director-general Tsai together with Deputy Chairman Zhang of Research, Development and Evaluation Commission; Chief Secretary Xie of Civil Affairs Bureau; and Deputy Head Yan of Information Center of Ministry of Finance. The final scene was a real drill, in which Section Chief Lin of West District Household Registration Office and Miss Tsai of Local Tax Bureau helped a citizen to apply for a certificate from West District Household Registration Office. It was seen through the video that the applied documents were printed out via the cloud network of Local Tax Bureau and the citizen got the requested information right at the spot.
