1. Taichung "King Lido KTV" shooting case occurred on April 30, 2013 and the police caught 13 gangsters including Zhang O and 12 followers of "Little Fang" criminal syndicate and seized three pistols. However, several suspects were still at large. To arrest those at large and collect evidence of the two crime syndicates, the Sixth Precinct of Taichung City Government Police Department and the Criminal Police Brigade reported and requested the Taichung District Prosecutors Office to take charge.
2. The task force has since tracked the whereabouts of remaining suspects day and night. During the investigation process, the task force has even found that Zhang O crime syndicates operates hotels, PUB, and KTV to disguise its criminal conducts including loan sharking and debt collection by violence. Its gangsters surnamed Lee, Song, and Wang were even involved in a case in June in whom they beat a victim surnamed Lin badly, robbed his necklaces and other belongings, and confined him in a motel in Holi District. In addition, Mr. Fang nicknamed "Killer Fang" and his followers were also involved in several violence and drug-related cases. Both "Fangs" have been causing trouble in Taichung area. After four months of evidence collection, the task force decided it was ripe time to take action and thus on the morning of Aug. 19,Prosecutor Lin of Taichung District Court Prosecutors Office led 200 police officers from Taichung, Nantou, and Kaohsiung to raid more than 40 places located in Taichung, Yunlin, Chiayi, and Kaohsiung. All the five “Fangs” gangsters at large were caught and questioned by the prosecutor, who appealed to the court to detain all of them according to the Organized Crime Prevention Act. Three of them, including Li, Song, and Wang were detained and held incommunicado and the rest were released on bail.
