Multigenerational Family Tour

To encourage multigenerational families to travel together and have records of their outings, the Civil Affairs Bureau of Taichung City Government has been holding the "Multigenerational Family Tour" program. Acceptance of enrollment began from September 30 and ended on October 25. The program has been enthusiastically accepted so far.

Multigenerational families which have completed application forms, got tour passports from Taichung City East District Office, attached two pictures taken at any two (2) imagery plagues of ten (10) recommend scenic attractions (namely Chenlan Temple in Dajia District, Taichung Cultural and Creative Industrial Park, Dadu Huangsi College, Le Cheng Temple in East District, Taiping Tun District Art and Culture Center, Wanhe Temple in Nantun District, Dongshih Hakka Cultural Park, Tanzi-Daya-Shengang Bike Path, Qinshui Harbor Arts Center, and Confucius Temple and Martyr's Shrine in North District), sealed all the exclusive stamps of 10 scenic attractions on their tour passports, and handed in their tour passports to East District Office before or on October 25 are considered to have completed the pilgrimage task.

The first 100 multigenerational families that have completed the pilgrimage task will be invited to the 2013 Filial Piety Models and Multigenerational Family Outings Ceremony to be held at 9:30, Saturday, November 16. They will be awarded with a family trophy and souvenirs and posed for pictures with Mayor Jason Hu. It shall be a beautiful memory for each multigenerational family to permanently retain. The seats are limited. Registrations are based on first come first served basis.
