Wenxin Gallery of Local Tax Bureau (Address: Floor 7, No 99, Sec 2, Wenxin Road) will feature Qiu Shan-mei Meticulous Ink Painting Exhibition in May 2014. This exhibition is open to the public from 8:00 to 17:00 every day between May 1 and May 29 (except weekends and national holidays). Everyone is welcome to appreciate the artworks.

A born lover of painting, Qiu Shan-mei (邱杉美)did not study meticulous ink painting until she met teacher Wang Shuang-kuan (王雙寬). After teacher Wang suffered from poor health, Qiu started to learn freehand painting after teacher Zhang Jing- yue (張景岳). Qiu has also been learning landscape painting after master Ger Xian-ren (葛憲能) for several months.The edification of these three masters has enriched Qiu’s paintings greatly.

Qiu is known for her diverse, unique, and delicate brushwork techniques. This exhibition showcases her paintings drawn in the past many years. People are welcome to view and have a soul talk with the paintings
