Police Seized Drugs Hidden in Coffee Packets

The police always keep an eye on teenagers during summer vacation to prevent the entertaining activities from becoming illegal behaviors. Recently, police officers at Dadun Police Station received reports of stench floating out of a motel room which smelled like drugs. On the early morning of August 2nd, Head Chang of Dadun Police Station sent police officers to the motel and found pungent odor and noisy electronic music wafting from room 211.

The officers knocked on the door and requested for a search. Upon entering the room, police officers found 2 men and 3 women, residues of ketamine and some plastic packs on the table and sofa in the room. Afterwards, the police saw 5 coffee packets and 4 empty packets which looked questionable and kept them as evidence. Later, the coffee packets were examined to be 2nd-degree MDMA.

The suspects admitted that they owned the drugs and the tools, and the coffee packets were bought from an unknown friend. After informing the suspects of their rights, the police brought the suspects to the police station for further investigation.

In recent days, drug dealers mix different types of dugs with coffee or milk tea bags to avoid detection. While abusing drugs causes damage to the urinary, nerve, and immune systems and may even lead to death, it’s fortunately that the police officers were vigilant enough to detect drugs mixed with coffee inside the packets in this case and they vowed to urge people to avoid using drugs and to crack down on drug dealing cases.
