Dadun Cultural Center recently has completed multiple art installations and the arrangement of the display space of collections. Meanwhile, during Chinese New Year, the entrance hall was decorated with festive décor and flowers. To introduce 10 newly-displayed collections and to embrace the upcoming new year, the Center will be holding the activity of changing the face of Dadun and writing calligraphy on the same day.

Below is the activity schedule of January 14, 2017 (Saturday):
09:30-10:00 Vibrant dragon and lion dance with war drum show, famous calligraphers start the calligraphy ceremony
10:00 Spring Festival couplets writing activity, stamp collection of changing the face of Dadun activity and clicking on “check-in” and the “like” button on Facebook activity

About the activities and how to participate:

A. Spring Festival couplets writing: 10 famous calligraphers including Lin Yu-mei, Lei Xiu-li, Zhang Zi-qiang, Su Ren-yan, Ren Rong-qing, Su Zhe-xian, Zhang Jia-xin, Chen Yao-an, Hong Chuan-wang, Hong Wen-xiong will be writing the couplets in the lobby of Dadun Cultural Center. The event will start from Saturday January 14, 2017 10am. People who are interested in the activities should collect the participation cards at the Center. The couplet is limited to one per person. Limited quantities; available while supplies last.

B. “The Rooster’s crowing marks the beginning of spring: 2017 Stamp collection of changing the face of Dadun activity”: The event will start from Saturday January 14, 2017 10am. People who are interested in the activities should collect the DM of “The Rooster’s crowing marks the beginning of spring: 2017 Stamp collection of changing the face of Dadun activity” at the activity counter. Once 10 stamps are collected, people can redeem one “creative and cultural gift by Dadun Cultural Center” at the activity information desk (one out of four creative and cultural gifts available, while supplies last). The event will end on Sunday February 5, 2017 9 pm.

C. Click on the “check-in” and “like” button on Dadun Cultural Center’s Facebook page: The event will start from Saturday January 14, 2017 10am to Sunday February 5, 2017 9 pm. During this period, as long as you show the screen shot of clicking on the “check-in” and “like” button on Dadun Cultural Center’s Facebook page to the information desk, you will get one Dadun masking tape (limited quantities, while supplies last)!
