2018 Taichung World Flora Exposition will open in November. After the “earliest bird ticket,” the “early bird ticket” is open for sale in March. Each ticket costs NT175, only half price of an adult ticket, which is NT350. The ticket can be bought at the ibon machine of 7-11 convenience stores all over Taiwan or on the website of GOMAGI. Information Bureau, Taichung City Government, said that the ticket holder can tour the three flora expo parks at Houli, Fengyuan, and Waipu in one day. Welcome to wander in flowers with your relatives and friends and “listen to the voice of the flowers” together.

Information Bureau said to greet Taichung World Flora Exposition, the engineering and planning are in full swing. The flora expo will take place in three parks, respectively in Houli, Fengyuan, and Waipu. Each has its own characteristics. For example, in Houli, the forest park features ecology while the horse ranch park, the glamour of the hundred-year-old horse ranch. In Fengyuan, the river and flowers of Hulu Dun Park enables the public to get familiar with water and listen to the voice of the flowers. The park of Waipu exhibits the result and innovative technology of gardening and farming in Taichung.

Information Bureau pointed out that 2018 Taichung World Flora Exposition is the second international horticultural exposition officially authorized by AIHP (International Association of Horticultural Producers) and BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) and the fourth time for Taiwan to host the large-scale exposition. With the topic of “Rediscover Green, Nature and People,” the exposition redefined with warmth and hospitality will last from November 3 this year to April 24 next year.

2018 Taichung World Flora Exposition is not only the big news for Taichung but also a major international event for Taiwan. Through this, we’ll put Taiwan on the world stage.
