Komagane Shi, Nagano Ken, will have newly married couples from Taichung city invited to attend the famous event of pure white wedding. It’s the sixth year for the event and the attendees this year were invited from the lucky draw performed by the Deputy Mayor of Komagane Shi, Hide Horiuchi when he participated in the event of Taichung united wedding before. They are two lucky couples of newly married husband and wife to be the Tourism Ambassadors to represent for Taichung city so the interactions between these two cities were facilitated and enhanced again.

Deputy Secretary-general of the City Government, Sheng-yi Lee, indicated Komagane Shi is a beautiful place with natural scenery when he hosted the pure white wedding. The pure white wedding this year was at the same time of sakura blooming so the scenery was gorgeous. When the newly married couples made their vows in front of the chapel and accepted the greetings of cheers from the people with the sound chorus of Alphorns, they must have had an unforgettable memories of their wedding forever here.

Mayor of Komagane City Sagimoto Koji, as the witness in the wedding every year, said, he is happy to see many newly married couples from Taichung city to join in the pure white wedding. Through such a kind of activity, he seems to have a lot of children and grandchildren in Taichung so he has a special familiarity to Taichung.

These two couples who attended this event are Jiwei Chang and Yufei Chan, Haichen Hsu and Chuansheung Chen, respectively. They are the winners of the lucky draw during Taichung united wedding last year. They were awarded by Komagane Shi to be the commissioned tourism ambassadors with the identifications of the citizens of Komagane Shi. They said they have had very special impressions about Komagane Shi through the pure white wedding though it’s the first time for them to visit the city.

The officer of Tourism and Travel Bureau said, the interactions between Komagane Shi and Taichung are very close, the officers from Komagane Shi visited Taichung for many times, for example, bringing the Wadaiko performance in the lantern festival of Central Taiwan. The City Government is aggressively developing the direct flight between Taichung International Airport and Nagano Matsumoto Airport so the pure white wedding event is just a starting point for both of us to have the further tourism communications in many other different aspects.

The officer of Tourism and Travel Bureau mentioned, following the tourism communication agreement signed by Taichung city and Komagane Shi, Taichung is contacting Nagano Ken to sign another triple friendly city agreement of Taichung, Nagano Ken and Komagane Shi.
