Taichung City Government is showing the investment attraction achievements through connecting the power of the private enterprises to get involved in 2018 Taichung World Flora Expo. AU Optronics, Victor Taichung Machinery Works, Cheng Loong, Taiwan Land Development Corporation, Taichung Real Estate Development Association, Columbus network technology etc. six enterprises are invited to build six enterprise halls at Houli Forest Park Area and Fengyuan Huludun Park Area. Mayor Lin attended the joint press conference for the enterprise hall opening today(30th). He announced those enterprises have settled down in the halls of Flora Expo and the six enterprise halls are linked with the 6 themes of the City Government as 「Six-six big success」 to show the most gorgeous Flora Expo to the world.

Today, Economic Development Bureau, Taichung City Government conducted the joint press conference for the enterprise hall opening at City administration building on the Taiwan Boulevard. Many guests like the Chairman of AU Optronics, Hsun-lung Peng, Managing director of Taichung Real Estate Development Association, Chun-ji Chiu, Chairman of Victor Taichung Machinery Works, Ming-ho Huang, Chairman of Cheng Loong, Shu-yun Cheng, Chairman of Taiwan Land Development Corporation, Fu-shen Chiu and Chairman of King Ray Group, Jin-hsin Huang etc. were all present to participate in the important event. They brought their proud achievements in the exhibition booths and showed the great architecture designs with the animations of the themes to the people formally. Mayor Lin is confident to make the enterprise halls become the most attractive spots to greet the people to visit Taichung from the countries of the world.

Mayor Lin said, City Government would like to transform the Taichung Flora Expo to be the National Team of Taiwan so the local enterprises in Taichung are invited to build up the enterprise halls. With the assistance of Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute and Agricultural Research and Extension Station, we have invited the most excellent design teams and the artists from everywhere to gather all the best talents and techniques to dedicate in Taichung Flora Expo.

Mayor Lin indicated, with the collaborations of public and private sectors, this Flora Expo is not just the Flora Expo of Taichung but also the Flora Expo of all Taiwanese. The City Government has built 6 theme halls at Houli Horse Ranch and Forest Park Area, Waipu Park Area and Fengyuan Huludun Park Area; also, the invited companies have their theme halls built as well which makes the combination to reach「Six-six big success」. Not only the features of the industries are addressed but also the technology and culture are combined together, either one of them is fantastic. We will show the world the most gorgeous Flora Expo.

The officer of Economic Development Bureau said, six enterprise halls represent the leaders of Taichung and Taiwan. They brought the advanced technologies and the best creative designs to link to the spirits of Flora Expo GNP theme with the unique exhibitions to show to the world. AU Optronics has cross over collaborations with National Taiwan Museum to adopt the great botanical collections and research results of National Taiwan Museum as the elements of digital creations. The pollens and seeds of different species were amplified to millions of times in sizes and shown by the high definition monitor to the delicate micro world of the plants to be seen. The tourists will see the advanced technologies we’re proud of and the social educational objective of the Flora Expo will be deeply rooted at the same time.

Taiwan Land Development Corporation has appointed the famous architect of 2020 Tokyo Olympic Main Hall, Kengo Kuma, to design the Camellia Hall constructed by 1450 wooden triangle building blocks to make people se the artwork of the international master of architecture in Taichung Flora Expo. The tourists will see the only one unique camellia of the world.

Cheng Loong paper corporation will challenge to have the test run and formal operations for 8 months during Flora Expo period. They will introduce the recycled paper pipes made of the recycled corrugated papers and build up the world number one outdoor exhibition hall of Leopard cats with the recycled papers. It’s a breakthrough approach to use papers to show the delicate paper sculptures of flowers and Taiwan originated animals.

Victor Taichung Machinery Works has constructed a giant mechanical tree with mechanical blooms based on their spirits of technicians from the machine industrial village of the golden valley of Mt. DaDu,「60 kilometers, the pulse of the world」. It will make the Flora Expo becoming a fantasy world of the mechanicals with the interactive technologies and inspire the people to be interested in the smart machines.

Taichung Real Estate Development Association has integrated the power of architecture industries in Taichung to invite the artist, Teacher Wen-ji Wang, to complete the construction of the curved exhibition hall with bamboo weaving which is the combination of architecture craft and art creation. Then the exhibition hall will become part of the artworks of architecture exhibition.

Some members of Columbus network technology like King Ray Group, top MSO, Sheng Chyean, Masse etc. would like to take the experience as a healthy business, exhibition and education to build the Young Flora hall for making dreams come true. They will lead the people to get close to the nature to echo to the spirit of Flora Expo for conservation of natural environment.
