Last year the celebration took place at ASEAN Square, and this year to thank all Indonesian workers, the event is held at City Hall Square, inviting all citizens to the celebration.

What’s more, the City Government transformed the First Square “ASEAN Square” with “communication & Interaction Platform”, “International Immigrant worker living service center”, and “ASEAN Taiwan Office Service Station”, all to better accommodate immigrant workers in Taichung.

Department of Civil Affairs indicated that this year the Eid Mubarak is held together by Taichung Mosque, gathering Islam, culture and gourmet, featuring Muslim children reciting Quran and the dance by Indonesian new immigrants, the event united multi-culture in one place.
