19. Chanting the Blessing : Music is called to stopped (Dance and music pause). Master of Ceremony sings, “All stand still.” Principal Presentation Officer is guided to the incense table and the Ceremonial Attendants recite the prayer inscription.
Note: Prayer inscription, the words chanted in the rite, includes praise of the merits and virtues of Confucius and our willingness to inherit his behest to promote our culture.
20. Second Ceremony of Three Bows: The Master of Ceremony sings, “All stand still and bow three times.” All the attendants salute by three bows at the same time. Music is called to play (Dance and music resume).
21. Second Principal Presentation: "The Song of Peace - 3" is called to play. The Banner Holder raises up the banner. The Jie Holder raises up the “jie”. Music is played and dance is performed. Principal Presentation Officer offers silk and wine and bows three times to Confucius’s tablet.
22. Second Collateral Presentation: Each of the Collateral Presentation Officers makes an offering to each tablet of the sages enshrined in the east and west verandas of Da Cheng Hall.
