The Taichung City Government will hold a European Style Mass Wedding Ceremony for citizens of Taichung and government workers. Applications will be accepted on 10th and 11th of this month at the service window of the Department of Civil Affairs. There will be 70 couples getting married at this ceremony, with 65 citizen couples and five government worker couples.

The Department of Civil Affairs expressed that the wedding will be held at 4pm on October 10, Taiwan’s National Day, at the National Art Museum. The theme of this wedding is European style, the brides and grooms will dress up as princesses and knights. Elements of Taichung will also be integrated into the wedding. There will be a romantic wedding proposal ceremony, and then the couples will take their vows together.
