Children who love to read English storybooks are in for a treat. The Taichung city government spent almost a year organizing an English children's books service known as the "Fun Fun ABC" Children's English Library, which was officially opened by Taichung city mayor Jason Hu on November 12. Mayor Hu hopes that with the opening of this children's English library, it would help the children of Taichung city improve their English skills and step towards becoming more internationalized.

Mayor Hu expressed that with the opening of this children's English library, children can now enjoy reading English books in a stress-free environment. This not only helps them improve their English language skills, it would also give parents and children a common topic of conversation, thus help enhance parent and children relationships. At the opening ceremony, the children had a great time speaking English with Mayor Hu, and the conversation topics were all very interesting and fun. Mayor Hu also expressed that he was most impressed by the children's English language skills.
