The Chinese New Year is coming soon, and Taichung's "Chi-Kwang Street of New Year's Goods" was launched on the 7th of January. Taichung City's Deputy Mayor Hsiao Jia Qi and Council Speaker Chang Hung-Nien made a special appearance. They wish the Chi-Kwang Street stores endless business opportunities, great sales records, and encourage Taichung citizens to shop for New Year's goods on Chi-Kwang Street.

For 21 days, from January 7 th to January 27th, you can buy all the New Year's goods you want from Chi-Kwang Street. There are about 180 participating stores, with a complete inventory of all the various kinds of New Year's goods.

Special promotional deals, such as the hourly sales, were used to attract a younger crowd to Chi-Kwang Street. Furthermore, at night there are also an outdoor musical concert and a fireworks show. This allows the shoppers to enjoy elegant music and splendid fireworks while shopping for New Year's goods.
