The Taichung City Central Western District Department of Health Building was officially opened n March 3 at 10am. Taichung City Mayor Jason Hu and Taichung City Councilor Zhang Hong Nian were all present at the plaque revealing ceremony. Mayor Hu hopes that with the completion of this building, the people of Taichung would be able to enjoy a better service environment.

Since March 1 onwards, the Central Western District Department of Health’s public services department has been moved to the new building. From design to completion, this building took four years to construct and will provide citizens with a more spacious, comfortable and convenient service environment. The new headquarters of the Taichung City Western District Department of Health is situated at the corner of LiuChuan East Road and MinQuan Road, an outstanding oval shaped landmark of the city.
