Street side performers received warm response from audiences (2006-04-08)

In an effort to promote performance art in public areas in Taichung City, the Taichung City Government has invited street side performers to perform at certain points every Saturday and Sunday from April 8 onwards. The performances attracted a lot of onlookers and received warm responses from them.


In an effort to promote performance art in public areas in Taichung City, the Taichung City Government invited street side performers to perform every Saturday and Sunday from April 8 onwards at Taichung Railway Station, Taichung Park, Arts Museum Parkway and the Taiwan Boulevard Travel Service Center. There will be regular performances of folk songs, drawings, saxophone performances and much more. Between 10am and 11am on April 8, there was a guitar performance at the Railway Station; between 3pm and 4pm, there was a saxophone performance at Taichung Park; between 4pm and 5pm, there was a live drawing performance at the Taiwan Boulevard Travel Service Center; and between 6pm and 7pm there was a folk song performance at the Arts Museum Parkway. Each of these performances attracted a large number of audiences and warm applauses.
