On April 30th, the south and center District Office in Taichung City respectively held a Model Mother Ceremony in honor of the Mother's Day. The model mothers were rewarded by Jason Hu. In addition, Mayor Hu also gave a carnation to each model mother to extend his wish.

Mayor Hu pointed that mother is the most great person in the world. We shall appreciate the rewarded mothers who support their family. All mothers in the world should also be model mothers. Some of the rewarded mothers have disable family members, some raise children by their own in the challenging environment, some are dedicated to serve in the community without asking for rewards. Hereby, Jason extend his sincerely wish to all mothers for their efforts and contribution.

The 2006 Model Mother Ceremony in the Center District has rewarded 8 mothers. 22 mothers have been reward in the 2006 Model Mother Ceremony of the Center District. The award included "Love", "self-reliant" and "public service" award.
