A total of 16 postgraduate students from Innsbruck University, National Chung Hsing University's sister school visited Mayor Hu with the company of the director of Chung Hsing University's Social Science Management department on the 7th afternoon. The topics of Taiwan's politics and economics were touched and then they visited Confucius temple.

The postgraduate students asked the mayor regarding Guggenheim Museum's failing to happen in Taichung. Mayor Hu replied that Taichung government has fought hard for the opportunity of having the museum built here. However, the proposal failed to pass at the council meeting owing to the shortage of fund from the central government and future potential maintenance issues. He's disappointed to see the museum built in

Abu Dhabi instead of here. However, he'll continue to fight for other opportunities.

The students also asked Mayor Hu that what kind of difficulties he has encountered. Mayor said that the development in Taiwan tends to focus on the north and south instead of Taichung. However, situated in central Taiwan, Taichung is a beautiful and clean young city. Since he took office, the economics in Taichung has climbed and stayed stable. Nevertheless, there is still room for improvement that needs good economics to support. Moreover, Taichung has also been voted as the most ideal city to reside. It is expected that Taichung will become the most popular city in Taiwan.
