This summer, Taichung Bureau of Culture Affairs's sponsored Taichung Music Festival will fill every weekend with happiness. Starting from August 5 to September 16, community concerts will be taken place at 8 districts every Saturday at 19:30 pm and fill the city with music, just like Vienna.

At the press conference, Mayor Hu dressed in a colorful shirt and played electrical guitar, singing Beatles' I Want To Hold Your Hands. The atmosphere was high.

Mayor Hu says that this summer, every weekend will be filled with music with a series of concerts in Taichung, which is as if the music cultural city, the oriental Vienna.

80% of the invited bands are local to encourage Taichung music scene and present Taichung's voice, says the director of the Bureau of Culture Affairs.
