On Jan 1st, “Live Broadcast of Wiener Philharmoniker (Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra) New Year’s Concert” Organized by Taichung City Government will be held at Fulfillment Amphitheater. The event begins at 5.30and finishes at 8.30pm. Accompanied by dancers, Taichung Symphony Orchestra will be performing Taiwanese Folk music and other classical pieces. The City is also giving away prizes to audiences including a 32inch LCD TV. Don’t miss this great opportunity.
Remember the 9 Stars Concert during the opening of the Fulfillment Amphitheater? The Spectacular performances are unforgettable. The 2 300-inch screens on both sides of the stage, allowed the audience at the back to see the performance clearly. This time around, the screens will be even bigger than last time. Audiences should be able to see more than the audience in Vienna.
In addition, the sound system is also state-of-the-art. With the “Line Array” system, we are able to control the angle span at which the sound reverberates. This will help deliver a crisper sound than a traditional sound system, especially in this semi-circular theater.
Aside from the real-time live broadcast of the concert, audience will get to enjoy live performances by Taichung Symphony Orchestra prior to the main event. The Brass Quintet will perform 5 pieces including classical, novelette and Taiwanese Folk. Flutist Jia-ling Chang will perform Strauss II’s “Frühlingsstimmen op. 410 (Voices of Spring), with dancers waltzing on stage.
This event is organized TTV, and Taichung City Government, co-organized by BCC radio, and sponsored by Chimei Group.
