The Star Movie Theater ’Together for Movie’ screened an American animation “Meet the Robinsons” and a Swiss movie “Vitus” in the Roundness Theater of Taichung City. People of all ages enjoyed the movies in the cool weather of fall, as if time had gone back to 1950s or 1960s when people carried benches to the front plaza of temples and watched movies. It was an innovative and nostalgic experience to many. 

Deputy Mayor Hsiao said that Star Movie Theater will continue to screen good movies, and attract citizens to outdoor movie theater to save energy and achieve health. According to Hsiao, there were few locations that could accommodate a large number of audiences, and the Roundness Theater was one of them.

According to the Information Bureau, 5 series and 10 movies from 8 countries will be screen in the Star Movie Theater this year. The second series featured Disney animation “Meet the Robinsons” and “Vitus”, which is about how a genius piano player got rid of constraints in the adult world, and were favored by audiences of all ages. They all had a joyful weekend.

The VIP to the movie theater was Councilman Liou. According to Liou, many kids were eating ice bars provided by the organizer, and seemed happier than he was in his childhood. Over two thirds of audiences were children, showing their excitements in outdoor movie theater. They kept changing seats, but completely concentrated on the movies once the movie started.
