Local Tax Bureau of Taichung City Government is calling for tax-supporting lyrics from now until Friday, October 26, 2012. It is hoped that the winning lyrics will promote the positive image for taxation.
Local Tax Bureau said that all the residents of Taichung City are eligible for participating in this lyric or song writing contest. You need only download from the website of Local Tax Bureau any of the four specified songs, namely Little Star (小星星), Two Tigers (兩隻老虎), A Small Donkey (小毛驢), and Mr. Wang Has a Piece of Land (王老先生有塊地) and change its lyrics into something promoting the taxation system, or you can create your own music with lyrics for the same tax-promoting purpose. Your final product shall be a digital video disc (DVD), which should be delivered by registered mail to Local Tax Bureau before October 26, 2012. The registration form (including copyright consent form and affidavit) can be downloaded from our website. According to the scoring criteria, 10 winners will be selected in the first stage of the contest and each of the winners will be awarded with delivery coupons ranging from NT$4,000 to NT$10,000. For the second stage of the contest, the 10 winning videos will be posted on the facebook of Local Tax Bureau and rated by fans for popularity. The top five winners will be awarded with delivery coupons worth NT$3,000 to NT$7,000. Those fans participating in the online poll may each win a NT$1,000 delivery coupon, too.
