Wenxin Gallery of Local Tax Bureau (Address: Floor 7, No 99, Sec 2, Wenxin Road) will feature “Sharing of Beauty - Solo Oil Painting Exhibition of Guo Hui-lian (Ke-in)” in June 2015. This exhibition is open to the public from 8:00 to 17:00 every day between June 1 and June 29 (except weekends and national holidays). Everyone is welcome to appreciate the artworks.

Artist Guo Hui-lian (Ke-in)loves painting since childhood. She learned after teacher Fang Zheng-yang (方鎮洋)for "realist painting" in 2001 and then teacher Liu Ming-jie(劉明杰) for "figurative painting". Her sophisticated but humanistic paintings have won her many awards in a number of competitions.

Artist Guo believes that art is to make people feel pleasing, joyful and happy. If you compose a still life painting, you try to convey the beauty of cherished life. If you paint a boat to go, you apply the deeply and shallowly mottled tones to convey its courage and sunshine. If you paint calf, you show its innocence and purity to stir people’s feeling of love and affection.

Master Guo intends to share love with her audience. So, there will be no heavy subject in her exhibition this time. She only hopes that her viewers can give their own hearts and minds a quiet moment full of sunshine amid their busy life.
