This exhibition showcases the creative works produced by the members of the Creative Lacquer and Metal Arts Society. The Society was formed mainly by the teachers and alumni of the Graduate Institute of Applied Arts, Tainan National University of the Arts. The exhibition integrates lacquer and metal art to construct and interpret a diverse artistic vocabulary.

Artists contributing to this exhibition include Professor Wang Mei-chen, Lin Shu-ya, Yang Tsai-ling, Chen Chih-yang, Lin Ching-mei, Li Pen-yu, Kao-Wu Hui-chin, Li Yi-chin, Yeh Mao-lin and Lin Hsiu-tzui. Most of the members of the Society are involved in creative crafts for lacquer and metal art, as well as education. The society promotes the dedication to new creative works as well as passing down the tradition of lacquer and metal art craftsmanship. For this joint exhibition, the artists’ aims to integrate metal with traditional lacquer art, conjuring a symphony of rich and sophisticated visual sensations.【Seminar】
