As 2018 Taichung Flora Expo will be launched on 3rd November in Fengyuan, Houli and Waipu concurrently, it’s entering the stage of final countdown in 100 days. Taichung City Government has conducted the final countdown to Flora Expo in 100 days concert today (22nd) at the People’s square to welcome the upcoming Flora Expo. There were Lulu ((Lu-zi-in Huang) and many singers, Li-an Wei, Jia-jia and egg burger etc. to take turns to have performances on the stage and the last show was done by Ching-feng Wu, the ambassador of Flora Expo. In the beginning, the mascots of Flora Expo, Leopard cat family, were singing and dancing to warm up the atmosphere, then Mayor Chia-lung Lin invited everyone to listen to the sound of blooming and share the grace with the others through the events of Flora Expo.

In order to welcome the 「Final countdown to Flora Expo in 100 days」concert, the audience were still excited and running in continuously though it’s raining in the afternoon. The most lovely mascots of Taichung Flora Expo, Leopard family, Horsiver and campus ambassador, Tzu-hen Sun were performing together with the opening dance to heat the live atmosphere on site.

26th July, the final countdown to Flora Expo in 100 days, is happened to be the birthday of「Leona」in Leopard cat family. The host「Little turtle」Cheng-jun Yang led the audience to sing the song of happy birthday to Leona and Leona made her birthday wishes to invite everyone to Taichung Flora Expo to see the whole family in November.

「Graceful things is happening quietly by way of Flora Expo！」said by Mayor Lin, as we’re in the last 100th day to Flora Expo opening, the City Government is based on the theme of「Listening to the sound of blooming」 and 「Garden city」 renovation to make the aesthetic perception of everyone waken up. So the Flora Expo will not be just full of flowers and plants but also delivering the concept of 「Exploring GNP」with Green, Nature and People to present green productivity, natural ecosystems and people cultural lives.

He said, Taichung Flora Expo will present all the best parts and elements of Taiwan to the world during the six month of Flora Expo exhibition period. The ambassador of Flora Expo, Ching-feng Wu, has tailored made for the Flora Expo to compose a theme song with lyrics as《Please listen》to ask everyone to stop and listen to the sounds of blooming, the sounds of everyone’s heart, to spread out the grace through the Flora Expo and make the world better.

The officer of Information Bureau of the City Government said, 2018 Taichung World Flora Expo will be opened on 3rd November and the City Government has conducted the concert before the final countdown to Flora Expo in 100 days. The invited many singers and bands who have been born, raised or lived in Taichung for a long time to echo to the theme of Flora Expo, 「Listening to the sound of blooming」. It’s expected to connect the human beings to the nature through the melody and the messages from the nature will be listened to. At the venue of this concert, there was a cultural creative market of Flora farmers to allow the farmers and young entrepreneurs to exhibit and sell the beautiful flowers and products they made to greet the upcoming Flora Expo.

The concert will have very popular cast invited, including the talent composer, Li-an Wei, the soul singer, Jia-jia , Totem band, Mandarin J’rap singer, egg burger and the very popular hostess among young people, Lulu (Lu-in Huang), in addition to the local bands BIKE band , 929 band , silver bus band, One-step band and Flora Expo ambassador, Ching-feng Wu, will gather altogether to sing the theme song of Flora Expo, 《Please listen》, composed by Ching-feng Wu, for the very first time.

The live broadcast of the concert has been put on the platforms like 2018 Taichung Flora Expo official Facebook, Youtube show of Formosa TV, FTVLIVE and banana live on 4 season web TV of Formosa TV etc. will allow the people from everywhere of the world to participate in the very final countdown to Taichung Flora Expo in 100 days on line together.

The officer of Information Bureau of the City Government said, since Taichung Flora Expo will be held from 3rd November, 2018 to 24th April, 2019 in Fengyuan, Houli and Waipu concurrently, the citizens of Taichung May apply for the Flora Expo card to enjoy one-day free pass with the card; or the citizens can buy the special pre-selling tickets with NT$200 (regular adult tickets should be NT$350) before 31st July. The special tickets will be sold at the official website of Flora Expo, GOMAJI, Shopee, famiport ticketing net in Family marts, UDNe-ticketing, tickets.books.com.tw or 7-ELEVEN ibon system etc. without additional handling fee.
