Taichung is the hometown of cakes, Taichung City Government has planned to take the opportunity to expand the cake promotional scope during Taichung Flora Expo period. The famous designer, Pei-hen Wu, with the name of 「godmother of branding」to build the「meeting the happinesses」Hall at Hulutun park, Fengyuan. There are not only the flower artworks but also the wearable devices so the visitors can wear the bracelets of the device to experience the and see the cake story occurred in Taichung. Besides, there are wooden sculptures and the cake mold with the history of one hundred years exhibited. By combining「flower art」,「cake art」and「skills」, we’d like to bring the visitors comprehensive perceptions in vision, smelling and tastes.

The officer of Economic Development Bureau has pointed that Pei-hen Wu has the experience of designing the logo for Taiwan Hall of World Expo in Shanghai and the director of recognitive image planning and designing so she will connect the different cakes of Taichung with the different skills among the industries through the software and hardware mix, exhibition planning and designs to let the visitors to have both knowledgeable and sentimental gains. The the Taichung cake culture will be marketed to everywhere of the world.

Pei-hen Wu said, as a designer who should be the observer of the city and gain the power through the life experiences. It’s not just staying in the classroom, we need to walk outside to the world to see every corner around for polishing individual’s innovative capabilities and inspirations. The 「meeting the happinesses」Hall will apply the multimedia technologies to make the visitors experience the Taichung cake history with one hundred of years by themselves through the devices they wear on the wrists.

Moreover, there’re the other Taichung four arts with close relationships with cake culture, including「tea, coffee, wood, lacquerware」. National honorable artist, Master Ching Wu, is invited to have his classical artworks of wooden sculptures exhibited there for a special combined exhibition of 「cake art」and「skill」. The wooden sculptures made by Master Wu are all delicate and vivid, you will never ever miss them.

In addiction, the City Government will invite the domestic famous cake master Yin-bin Cheng to share his personal collections, the cake molds with the history of one hundred years, to be exhibited in the exhibition area of cake time corridor. All the worldwide visitors are expected to know more about the culture of Taichung cake then the fragrance of flowers and aroma of cakes will be spread around the world from Taichung.
