News of victory from Jakarta Palembang 2018 Asian Games emerged one after another. Pan, Yu-fen from Taichung also secure a silver medal in woman's sports event of bowling with her 2 other teammates.
Following Taichung kayaking athlete Chang Chu-han who won the bronze medal in the woman's sports event of kayaking (K1) yesterday, Taichung canoeing athlete Chen Wei-han who once won the silver medal in 2014 Asian Games competed in the finale of the woman's sports event of canoeing (C1) in Jakarta Palembang 2018 Asian Games this year. Faced with strong competitors from China, Japan, and Thailand, Chen Wei-han finally defeated Japan and Thailand with a score of 1 minutes 51 seconds 14, losing only 0.82 seconds to China and winning another silver medal for Taiwan.
Currently studying at National Taiwan Sport University, Chen Wei-han concentrates on her study in the graduate institution on weekdays and returns back to Taichung for professional training on weekends. Coincidentally, Chen Wei-han and Chang Chu-han were classmates in their elementary school years. Aside from winning silver medals in 2014 Asian Games, they also won 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal in Jakarta Palembang 2018 Asian Games this year.
Studying at National Taichung University of Education, Wu,Shao-hsuan who competed in the finale of man's sports event of kayaking (K1) today was advanced to the finale with a score of 1 minute 34 second 31 earlier and ranked fourth with a score of 1 minute 34 second 12 in the finale.
