Today, the Municipal Government Agriculture Bureau held a "Smart Agriculture Pavilion Exposure Press Conference" at the Flora Expo Waipu Park, hosted by the Deputy Mayor Zhang Guangyao, and invited Chen Mingda, the chief curator of the Smart Agriculture Pavilion, also the chief designer of Yujiang Design Engineering Co., Ltd., the curatorial teams including the Guyan Zhuiyun Plant Conservation Center, the Agricultural Committee of the Executive Yuan, Azhuowu Natural Agriculture Market, and the Information Industry Policy Association shared the curatorial concept. Chen Mingda, the chief curator of the Smart Agriculture Pavilion, said that the core curatorial concept of the Smart Agriculture Pavilion is to bring the gift of Taiwan to the world. The pavilion exhibits many plants that are going to be extinct and rare at home and abroad, and excellent agricultural technologies developed by Taiwan, these are precious gifts to be presented to the public.
According to the Agriculture Bureau, the Smart Agriculture Pavilion is a greenhouse building that uses fans and water curtains to achieve air circulation and develop an environment suitable for plant growth. The exhibition area is presented in five movements. The first movement "Smart Agriculture Suite - Gift from Taiwan" has a multimedia video theater for the public to watch, showing the process of seed germination, growth and ecological formation in Taiwan, reflecting on the importance of biodiversity.
The second movement, "Original Sonata", shows the current state and importance of plant conservation from the perspective of the world and invites the world's first private tropical plant conservation park, Guyan Zhuoyun Plant Preservation Center" to participate in the exhibition. Li Jiawei, the CEO of the Conservation Center, also professor of the Department of Life Sciences, Tsinghua University, offers more than 1000 species of rare plants from all over the world to create "Plant Ark". The plants include Taiwan’s endangered native plants, like the Wuweishan Wupi Tea, which is only distributed in some low-altitude mountainous areas in Pingtung County, and the endangered Ito’s original Guanyin lotus, which is mainly distributed in the Wulai and Nantou Lianhuachi areas of Taipei. With the cooperation of the conservation center and the local government, these species can be preserved and made more known during the Floral Expo.

The third movement, "Perpetual Waltz", exhibits 12 soils in the world, and among the 12 soils, Taiwan has 11 species. In addition, in order to let the public understand the connection between rice cultivation and Taiwan's land history, the carbonized seeds of Taiwan's prehistoric rice unearthed from the Nanke archaeological site are especially exhibited. The rice is 5,000 years ago and is known as the "Taiwan's first rice"; Azhaowu Natural Agricultural Market exhibits the friendly natural farming method here, showing the way of agricultural production and ecological conservation.
The fourth movement "Agricultural Heritage March" displays the research results of various agricultural units such as the Agriculture Committee and plans five special agricultural exhibitions during the exhibition period. The first chapter is "Good Food Ark", showing agricultural science and technology in agriculture and fishery and the achievements in the development of new breeds of livestock; The second chapter is "Magic Agricultural Technology", which uses the research and development of various agricultural production technologies to build an intelligent agricultural information system; the third chapter "Health and Live" displays medicinal and health care plants; the fourth chapter "Love Agriculture" shows the results of improving the quality of home through technology by the experience of five senses; the fifth chapter "Sharing Nature" shows the agricultural technology that can be recycled.
The fifth movement, "New Agricultural Rondo", was curetted by the Information Industry Policy Council. With the theme of "Open Agricultural Ecosystem", Taiwanese local manufacturers were invited to show their solutions to current agricultural needs and problems.
