The Taichung City Government promoted the "One District, One Parent-Child Pavilion". "Fengyuan Parent-child Pavilion", upgraded by the Nursery Resource Center and also the third parent-child pavilion in Taichung, the "Fengyuan Family Museum", was officially opened today. It has four major theme areas, including baby crawling area, small studio, small racing track, Qiyou Castle area and other activities for parents and children to play. It also provides monthly parent-child activities, parenting education, storytelling, community tour advocacy, teaching aids and toy borrowing and other services for free. Mayor Lin said that he hopes that parents and children can play together, learn together, and read together in such a safe and warm environment.
Mayor Lin attended the opening ceremony today (18), figures including Lyu Jiande, Director of the Social Affairs, Tang Yicang the head of the Fengyuan District, Chen Guodong, the Chairman of the Taiwan Toy and Children's Products Industry Association, Li Longsheng, the President of the University of Science and Technology, the City Councilors Chen Qinglong, Weng Meichun, Zhang Jingfen, and the representatives of the City Councilor Chen Bentian Service, presented at the event.。
Mayor Lin said that after the launch of the "one-stop nursery" policy, the city has invested more resources in childcare services. Following the first flagship parent-child pavilion established in Nantun last year and the Pinglin parent-child pavilion opened recently, there is a good place to cultivate parent-child relationship by "playing together", "learning together" and "co-reading". On October 30, the North District Parent-child Pavilion will be opened soon. In the future, it will be set up in the mountain, sea and Tunqu district to continue to advance towards the goal of "one district, one parent-child pavilion, one pavilion, one feature ".
Mayor Lin stressed that the age from 0 to 6 is very important. The parent-child pavilion will provide the best care and study for parents and children, and give parents a chance to play, learn and read with their children. The population of Taichung City will continue to increase, and it will soon surpass 2.8 million. It is recognized as the most livable city in Taiwan. The city hopes to use the policy of childcare and care for the elderly to help young people reduce their burdens, and to establish family and raise children here.

According to the Social Affairs Bureau, the second floor of the Parent-child Pavilion was originally Shanxian Nursery Resource Center. In response to the needs of the majority of families, the Taichung City Government used the public welfare lottery surplus distribution fund to expand the venue space to the third floor and upgrade to a parent-child pavilion, and extended the service to preschool children, allowing more families to enjoy the benefits. The space is divided into district-level planning, providing a safe and friendly environment for parents to educate their children during the interaction with the baby in the game, and also to share experiences with other parents.
The Social Affairs Bureau said that the Fengyuan Family Pavilion was officially opened on October 18 and the service has been extended to pre-school infants and their caregivers under the age of 6 from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30-11:30, 13 :30-16:30.
