Deputy Mayor Hsiao took part in 'Walk for Millions'(2006-04-09)

On the morning of April 9, at 7.15am, the 31st Taichung City Walk for Millions commenced from the Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Tens of thousands of people took part in this scenic charity walk that was approximately 8km long. During his speech, Deputy Mayor Hsiao expressed that all participants looked happy and energetic, and that the city government truly appreciated the support of the Vifon Foundation over the years, organizing such healthy and fun-filled activities. He also hoped that all citizens would also enjoy energetic and happy days. After the speech, deputy Mayor Hsiao and several city councilors joined the rest of the crowd in the walk.

Many exciting programs were planned that day, including performances by idol singers, games and competitions, Q&A, lucky draws, body painting and much more, attracting a lot of visitors. Vifon Foundation also designed many interesting games, which helped educate people about health, happiness and vitality.

Participants received free drinks sponsored by Vitalon, as well as hats and gifts. There was also a lucky draw where participants were able to win laptop computers, digital cameras, electronic dictionaries, DVD players, bicycles and much more.
