The 2005 Taichung City High School Craft & Technology Educational Courses Inspection & Commendation Ceremony was held on the morning of April 18 at the Cultural Bureau's Lecture Hall. Mayor Hu presented 136 excellent students and 60 teachers with commendations. Their work will be on exhibition at the Cultural Bureau's Da Dun Art Gallery from today till April 20th. Everyone is welcomed.

During the ceremony, Mayor Hu commended the excellent work of the students, and thanked the teachers for their hard work behind the scenes. Mayor Hu also encouraged the students to build a great future for themselves by using a kind heart along with their nimble hands.

The Chief of the Education Bureau expressed that the purpose of promoting craft and technology education is to allow students to select courses that best suit their abilities, personalities and interests. These give students an alternative, as well as help build their confidence. If they love what they learn, they will enjoy the learning process and find good prospects for themselves in their professional lives in the future.
