Jason Hu, the Taichung City Mayor, has attached great importance on child education and informs the authorities to strictly monitor unregistered kindergartens and unqualified teachers. The authorities may also provide some assistance to correct the situation. According to the news from certain media, 60% kindergarten teachers are unqualified and 35% kindergarten fails to register. Furthermore, 3-4times privates kindergarten than the public ones have experienced the above situation. Mayor Hu has noticed this critical issue and has enquiries to the Ministry of Education. It is hope to solve the problem early.

Zhang, Guang-Ming, the Director of Taichung City Education Bureau, indicates that only one kindergarten fails to register in Taichung City. Nevertheless, the bureau has provided assistance to the kindergarten. Additionally, he specifies that 70% of the kindergarten teachers in Taichung City are qualified; less than 30% of the teachers fail to obtain the qualification.
