Taichung City Tun District Art Center has designed the Shining Taichung – Umbrella Art installation exhibition and related activities for 2017 Taichung World Flora Expo. Inspired by the theme of “umbrella”, the center collaborated with Ta Chen Fong Umbrella to design the art installation by imbuing the imagery of flowers, where different shapes are combined with different materials, as well as variations between day and night to present the diverse expressions of the art installation.

The art installation consists of 7 theme areas: The Flora Umbrellas, Singin’ in the Rain, The Colorful Flower Bouquet, A Sunflower Farm in Autumn, Shining with Flowers and Umbrellas, Sparkling Taichung, Be There or Be Square. Furthermore, the main theme of the art installation is designed with local and international artworks, as well as elements of the Taichung Flora Expo. The “Leopard Cat Family Learning Form One Day Art Class” learning form welcomes everyone to come to the Taichung City Tun District Art Center to learn through playing.
