Qualification to Take Part in Civil Service Senior Examinations

In accordance with Article 13 of Civil Service Examinations Act, the following qualifications are required of candidates for the Senior Examination:
1. Candidates holding a doctoral degree from a graduate school of a public or an accredited private university, or from a graduate school of an overseas university recognized by the Ministry of Education, may apply for Level 1 Senior Examinations.
2. Candidates holding a master's degree from a graduate school of a public or an accredited private university, or from a graduate school of an overseas university recognized by the Ministry of Education, may apply for Level 2 Senior Examinations.
3. Candidates who are graduates of a public or an accredited private institution of college grade or above, or of an overseas institution of college grade or above recognized by the Ministry of Education, or who have held for at least three years a Junior Examination qualification in the relevant category, may apply for Level 3 Senior Examinations
