Chairman of charitable enterprise Deshin Industry Chao-cheng Lin and his wife Li-hua Lin Chen generously donated an imported VW T6 Hightop ambulance and onboard medical equipment worth TWD 2.82 million to the Fire Bureau, Taichung City Government. The turn over ceremony was held at 12:00 on August 8, 2017, the venue chosen was the office building of Seventh Corps Emergency Medical Service Team Zhonggang Branch Fire Bureau, Taichung City Government.

As the Chairman of Deshin Industry, Mr. Chao-cheng Lin fulfilled the dream of his wife Li-hua Lin Chen by raising fund together to purchase an ambulance named “Deng Xian Ming Chen Huo Ji Fu Che”. Besides benefitting citizens, the ambulance also serves as a token of appreciation toward Li-hua Lin Chen’s father for raising her. The turn over ceremony is held today on Father’s Day (August 8) in honor of her father, and it is hoped that upgrades to the branch’s emergency medical equipment will allow ETMs to offer more comprehensive care for the citizens, thereby enhancing the quality of emergency medical care.

The ambulance turn over ceremony was conducted by the Deputy Director-general of Fire Bureau, Taichung City Government Chin-tsai Tseng, who expressed his gratitude to Mr. Chao-cheng Lin for his contributions to firefighting in providing the firefighters with better equipment to do their jobs more efficiently and improve the quality of their service. Mr. Chao-cheng Lin commented that he will continue to contribute toward firefighting efforts so that citizens may enjoy better quality service.
