In thanking the firefighters for their hard work, Victor Taichung Machinery Works Co., Ltd. donated 20 pairs of rescue boots to the Chunshe Branch of the Taichung City Fire Bureau valued at approximately TWD 170,000 on December 11. The boots were donated by executive assistant Huang I-Ching and received by Commander Pan Te-Tsang from the 6th Corps Emergency Medical Service Team, who presented Huang with a certificate of appreciation, thanking the company for their support and for turning love into action.
According to the Fire Bureau, Victor Taichung is a renowned precision machinery firm in Taiwan that sells machine tools as its core business. With a history of over 6 decades in Taiwan, the firm has long been concerned with the public welfare. In appreciating the firefighters from Chunshe Branch conducting disaster rescue missions in the Precision Machinery Innovation Technology Park to protect people's lives and properties, the company has decided to donate rescue boots to every firefighter, hoping to contribute to bolstering their disaster rescue capability.
The Fire Bureau also thanked the company for their support, indicating that the equipment donation from Victor Taichung goes a long way towards improving firefighting safety and the firefighters will make good use of the equipment to protect their safety and that of the citizens. (12/11*18)*
