To establish the capabilities of drone operators in executing flight missions at disaster sites and providing necessary visual information for on-site commanders' decision-making, a multifunctional rescue drone has been donated to Shuinan Branch of the Eighth Corps, Fire Bureau, Taichung City Government. The goal is to enhance the efficiency of using technology in disaster situations. The donation ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on November 12, 2024, at Shuinan Branch. By integrating cutting-edge technology with emergency rescue operations, more accurate information for disaster response can be provided.
The Autel drone donated by Ziwei Temple this time is equipped with multiple temperature measurement modes, specifically designed for fire and rescue operations. This drone is able to locate fire points within dense smoke, assist in personnel rescues by penetrating smoke at fire scenes or detecting suspected heat sources in forested areas, observe temperature trends after water cooling, and monitor risks. Equipped with a 50-megapixel, high-sensitivity camera, it captures sharp 4K night images even in low light, and its 16x digital zoom supports long-distance observation. With a high-definition transmission range of 15 kilometers, the drone can observe large areas from afar to locate fire sources and people in need of rescue. Its 38-minute flight time allows extended monitoring of evolving fire situations.
