Sun Color Culture Supports Firefighters and Gives Back to Society by Donating an Ambulance and Medical Equipment to Taichung’s Fire Bureau

In celebration of its 35th anniversary, Sun Color Culture donated an ambulance to the Taichung City Government’s Fire Bureau to help strengthen emergency response capabilities and give back to society. The donation ceremony, held on April 29 at the Fire Bureau’s Zhonggang Branch, was attended by General Manager Liu Shu-mei representing the company, and Senior Technical Specialist Yang Chun-kai, who received the donation on behalf of the Fire Bureau.
The Fire Bureau noted that the Zhonggang Branch, located on Taiwan Boulevard in the city’s North District, situated in the city center. Its jurisdiction spans the borders of the West, North, and Xitun Districts. Taiwan Boulevard experiences heavy traffic and frequent accidents, and the area is filled with high-rise buildings, apartment complexes, and several department stores, attracting large crowds on weekends. The corps also supports neighboring areas, including Xitun and Central Districts. Last year, they responded to over 3,000 emergency calls, increasing wear and tear on their ambulances and creating a strong need for replacements. The donation from Sun Color Culture not only directly benefits citizens who might need emergency care, but also helps ensure the safety of emergency personnel—an act the bureau sincerely appreciates.
The Fire Bureau detailed that the donated high-roof ambulance comes equipped with comprehensive emergency medical tools, such as a portable oxygen system, a foldable aluminum alloy evacuation chair with tracks, and an electric stretcher—similar to those used in hospital emergency rooms. Essentially, the ambulance functions as a compact mobile ER. It has been assigned to the Zhonggang Branch for frontline emergency response, enhancing the quality of pre-hospital care. The donation strengthens emergency response capabilities, ensures service quality, and improves the efficiency of life-saving efforts—ultimately benefiting more people in need.
