Reports Informed by the Public on Shopping Platforms with High Risks Announced by the Anti-fraud Hotline 165(2019/11/18-2019/11/24)

Recently, the crook called shoppers and pretended as some buyers by claiming order error. Shoppers were requested to operate in front of an ATM to cancel term payments. Be careful when you are told to “operate in front of an ATM for order error,” that is a scam! Recently platforms were used by the crook including:
“ANDEN HUD,” “Perfect Match Theatre,” “Cash Box KTV,” “Booking.com,” “Japanese Cosmetic Monster Academy,” “Myeong-dong International,” and “EYESCREAM.”
We would like to remind you to call the Anti-Fraud Hotline 165 for any concerns and doubts.
Taichung City Police Department cares about you!
